Dogar sun lalkara morh da kholi ghodi keelion ja

Dogar takes his rifle off of the nails (on the wall) after hearing Morh's roar

(Ghodi can also mean "horse" in Punjabi and it can also refer to a gun depending on the context it's used in)

Ohne raffal pathani chak ke, leyan pattan modhe vich pa

Carrying the Pathani rifle, he wears the belt of bullets

Gin ke bhar liyan teran (13) goliyan, kenda kardu sab fanaa

He counts and loads 13 bullets, he says he'll destroy everything

Ohde mooh te laali chagar di, akhin khoon geya si aa

Redness dances on his face, his blood rushes into his eyes

Jatt nu pajjeya dinda jaan nahi, ajj deuge alakh muka

He won't let him run away, today he will wipe out his existence

Jattiyan band kardu jatt jamno, deu agg Morhan nu laa

Jattiyan won't give birth to Jatts, he will burn down the village of Morh

(Jatt is a caste prominent in Punjab, Jattiyan refers to females of the Jatt caste and Jatts refer to the males)

Giddar chal ke aape sher de, Geya kurne murhe aa

The donkey himself has come to the corner of the lion

Ehda dher chon daana mukeya, ehnu rahi aa maut bulaa

Grain from his pile are finished, his death is calling for him

Mainu foke dabke maar ke, jatt sakda nahi daraa

By blatantly shouting at me, he can't scare me

Mainu dhudh chugaya sherni, jedi kende buri bala

A lioness had breastfeed me, she's called a great curse

Ahmed pair rakaa vich dhar leya, murhe gayi Dogri aa

Ahmed (Dogar) sets foot in the courtyard, out comes his wife

Farh ke daang Dogar te hath chon, naddi rahi aa tarle paa

Taking the weapon from Dogar's hand, the woman makes a plea
